Grace Community Disaster Relief Team

This ministry is a new one for us here at Grace, but we feel led by God to go out into our communities and help out wherever it is possible. The main function of this ministry is to feed the affected residents as well as first responders and volunteers that are working in the area.

This past weekend on June 23, 2016 a devastating flood hit our State of WV. It destroyed homes, businesses, churches, and sadly claimed the lives of 23 people.  In response to this tragedy we mobilized our Disaster Relief team. On Saturday, June 25th the team headed to Clendenin, WV with about 20 members of the church.  We set up and cooked Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for about 2500 people. The blessings we received as a group that day were abundant.   Below is a photo set of pictures that were taken that day.

We know several community members are unable to assist in Disaster Relief for several different reasons, but if you would like to help us out with our Ministry here at Grace you can send us an email which is on our contact us page or we have set up a GoFundMe account. The link for that is GoFundMe. We greatly appreciate the prayers for our ministry as well as any financial donations that you could give.
